Elaine's and Doing a Good Deed's grand fundraiser for Mahi Tahi Tatou who enable good lives for people with disabilities in the Wairarapa.
A brief note from Elaine Leggott..."Hello to all of my 'Doing a Good Deed" friends. I wanted to tell you all that I have had a diagnosis of incurable lung cancer, this has been a real shock to George and myself, and to our family and friends. I'm not sure what will happen to the page at this stage but just wanted to thank you for all of your love and support over the years, I know we've made a real difference to a lot of lives and that has been amazing. I want to do a big fundraiser for something dear to my heart (I'm not dead yet!). Mahi Tahi Tatou support young adults with disabilities and I have loved seeing them enjoying getting out and about and would love to fund lots of great activities for them.
I have done many fundraisers for Mahi Tahi Tatou over the years through the 'Doing a Good Deed" Facebook page and would like to continue to support them to work with people with disabilities through this Give a Little page.
The money will be spent on providing education, employment, social activities and events and the opportunity for people with disabilities to fully participate and contribute to our community.
