$5,000- $8,000 Surgery or leg amputation needed for family dog.

  • Moose x-rays painkillers and specialist appointment costs

      14 November 2022

Moose has been to my vet today and he suggests moose is young enough to heal if kept in his cage for a month. I've already borrowed $1000 on emergency clinic bills x-rays and pain killers and he is going to need more x-rays and will reassess amputation in a month on the 13th of Dec thank you so much for the help! More vet bills x-rays and potentially an amputation to come! But moose is home safe and we will take it as we go.

Hi……I have donated and will again next payday but please, please, please keep him in the crate and follow the vets instructions even though it will be hard. it may seem unkind to keep him in all the time and as he improves he will try to persuade you he doesn’t need to be in there. It is definitely in his best interest in the long run to be strictly confined. Try to borrow a harness so when you take him out to toilet you have really good control of his movements. Best of luck.
