Thank you for your generous donation toward Dom’s trip to represent New Zealand in Montenegro at the 2016 Youth Waterpolo World Champs.
He and his family were overwhelmed and humbled by the incredible support not just from the waterpolo community but the wider Auckland community; friends, family and businesses alike. This generosity and backing of a young man with a lot of potential truly represents everything that is great about being a Kiwi and getting to represent your country on a world stage. It was such a heart-warming experience being able to do this for Dom and his family, and I personally want to extend our thanks for enabling us to do so.
Dom, too would like his gratitude passed on to you;
Thank you very much for your contribution to my give a little cause. I am looking forward to representing NZ on the world stage, raising the profile of NZ in the waterpolo world and of waterpolo in NZ. I know each donation from people like you has made the opportunity more affordable for my parents, who I would also like to thank for all their hard work and support. I will pay it forward, support others, and continue to strive for the best. Thanks again
Dominic
The team departed New Zealand on Friday, and have just had their first training and warm up game in the outdoor ocean pool, against the hosts Montenegro. We have a tough draw - against all the powerhouse nations of waterpolo but this will give the boys a great opportunity to rise to the challenge and play the best in their age-group in the world.
I will post links and updates on the Give-a-Little page for those interested in following the teams progress
With much gratitude
