Help Flood Victims in Kerala, South India
Our home is under siege. Massive floods have caused tremendous destruction throughout our beautiful state of Kerala and our people are suffering. Kerala is struggling with floods leaving people with no food, drinking water, clothing & shelter. We are resilient and shall come out stronger at the other end. But we need your HELP.
• The state is facing the worst flood in 100 years
• Death Toll is now at 357 and rising, 310,000 homeless and rising
• 70,000 relief camps, 60,000 km’s of roads damaged
The path to recovery can be long & arduous, but you can make a difference by joining the rebuilding efforts.
Your generous contributions will be transferred to the Kerala Chief Minister’s relief fund (CMDRF) at the end of this campaign. This will be used by the government for rehabilitation, disease prevention, compensation loss of home, etc. Receipt of the fund deposited will be emailed as a proof to everyone who contributed.

Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund is an emergency assistance release mechanism granting immediate relief to families and individuals distressed by calamity, loss of life due to accidents and chronic diseases.

Experts have said it will take at least a decade for the state to recover from the massive devastation caused by the floods from the onset of the monsoon. Kerala is facing a loss of Rs 19,512 crore and the Centre, which has classified the floods as a “calamity of severe nature”, and several states have announced aid from their relief funds.
A 68-year-old man committed suicide in Kothad in Ernakulam district as he was shocked over the state of his home. A teenager from Kozhikode had committed suicide earlier after his certificates were destroyed in the floods.
