Doreen Poupouare Ovarian Cancer Journey

Update 17/10/21 Mama D has now had 3 rounds of chemo we are waiting for a decision from the Oncologists whether the treatments have worked and if so surgery if not then continuance of chemo. As the struggle for our beautiful friend continues she remains cheerful and tries to not show any pain she feels. But the longer the treatment continues so does her finances. Please help even in these not so good times the struggle is real every little bit would be most appreciated.

We are all shocked to hear our loved friend Doreen has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She is a very much loved wonderful caring mum to Alycia and Cruze and aunty nana Mama D to everyone who is lucky enough to cross her path. Doreen has worked hard to provide for her family. She is also well known in the NZ music industry and to many of our musicians also overseas artists and is a valued

friend travelling the country supporting many of

Aotearoas bands gigs. Doreen will do anything

for anyone let's give back while she is on her

Journey over the next few months without any

mahi doreen will need help with her Bill's, rent

that may need to be paid at this time so she can

receive the treatment needed to extend her

lifespan with us for many more years. We

acknowledge at this very uncertain time the

struggle is real and any little bit would be very

much appreciated.
