Just one month before receiving a life-changing diagnosis of extensive-stage small cell lung carcinoma, Martin experienced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of his beloved wife of 30 years.In a matter of weeks, life has been turned upside down—grieving the loss of a life partner while now facing an aggressive and serious illness.

Extensive-stage small cell lung cancer is fast-moving and requires urgent, ongoing treatment.This brings not only physical challenges, but also emotional and financial strain. With hospital visits, treatments, medications, and day-to-day living costs, the burden quickly becomes overwhelming—especially without their partner by their side.
