I'm providing free Medical Care in Vanuatu
Otago
I'm a Rural General Practitioner in Wanaka who has a passion for helping peoples health where there is no available doctor. In August 2016 I went to Vanuatu with a charitable organisation called Marine Reach for two weeks to an island called Malakula which has 25,000 people and no resident doctor. A bit different than Wanaka where we have about 1 doctor for every 600 people. People have been keen to contribute to this so I have set up this page. The more money I raise the more often I can go and the more I can take with me. The money will go towards medical supplies, transport, and ship running costs. On my last trip as a family we also donated childrens play equipment and the cost of a passport to a worthy Ni-Vanuatuan so he could get training to be able to carry out volunteer aid work. You can find out more about the cause at marinereach.com. You can donate directly to them there to help other doctors like me. Thank you so much for your support.
