Support us to make our school environment one that our students can be proud of!
Mount Roskill, Auckland
This year Dominion Road School has embarked on a journey to revitalise our school environment for the benefit of our tamariki and wider Dominion Road School community. We commissioned an art mural on the side of our swimming pool wall by artist and author, Stu Duval. In April, we completed the building of a fale which has added a wonderful cultural connection for our students.
We would like to start with the following three projects:
- Completing payments on our school fale
- Planting hibiscus flowers and birds of paradise around our fale
- Commissioning an art mural on the wall of our garden shed and library
We are now fundraising for these and would love your support with this as these projects are not covered by the Ministry of Education. By supporting these projects you will be helping us to continue to create a culturally-rich environment, not only for our current students, but also those who will be here in the future.
We are a vibrant community-focused school located in Mt Roskill with approximately 270 tamariki. We promote a rich and engaging learning environment which fosters a love for learning whilst upholding our school values of Respect, Attitude, Perseverance.
Funding will be used to complete payments on our school fale, plant hibiscus and birds paradise around the fale and commission a new mural. Any surplus funds in excess of our target will be allocated additional projects to improve our school grounds.
