Free DSLR Astrophotography Tutorials and Affordable Equipment Rental for Kids/Adults in Christchurch

I am a PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Canterbury and an amateur photographer. I want to create free to use resources (tutorials, blog) for DSLR astrophotography and equipment lending library for kids/adults in the local community (Ilam, Christchurch) who cannot afford expensive astrophotography equipment or those who would like to give it a try before investing on their own equipment. The equipment will be used for free hands on tutorials for kids to be conducted every weekend (subject to whether conditions).
