Raising funds and awareness for the Syrian Refugees who we welcome to Dunedin. Funds go to the Rotary Club of Dunedin Charitable Trust

Otago

I will be walking in the Stadium to Surf event in Dunedin, New Zealand on 12th March to raise funds for this initiative. I'll be carrying a pack that might be similar to that of an ex-refugee when they first arrive in Dunedin.

All funds raised will go from the Rotary Club of Dunedin Charitable Trust to Syrian ex-refugee families via the Red Cross.

The funds will help support Youth activities amongst the ex-refugee Syrian Community, such as helping to pay for sports club fees, sports equipment /clothing, fees or school camps or trips or any other needs of the children and young adults within our new Syrian Community
