Representing NZ, our dynamic duo DT Power aim to electrify the world stage at Hip Hop Unite World Championships this October with YOUR help!
Wellington
Friends and dance partners Daniel and Tara are a newly formed hip hop dance duo who recently qualified to represent New Zealand not once, but TWICE at the Hip Hop Unite World Championships this year in October. For the very first time, HHU Worlds will be hosted by New Zealand, and they are deeply honoured to double represent their country in their cadet duo DT Power and cadet mega crew Revolution (world finalists in 2025) on home soil.
Last year this dynamic duo discovered they worked well together as a team and developed a strong friendship when training with their mega crew to compete at HHU Worlds in Prague. Their crews commitment and dedication to training and dance had them place in the top 8 so they know what it takes to aim high.
This year Daniel and Tara formed their duo and despite financial challenges and limited resources, they have worked hard through many hours of self led training to place in the top 3 recently at Nationals to qualify for Worlds in Tauranga. Their next goal is to win the cadet duo division at the World Championships and they need your help. With regular studio coaching and training, their goal is very much within reach.
Double repping NZ comes with twice the training and twice the cost. With a love of dance and commitment to working to be the best they can be together, they would love for you to come along and be part of their journey to Worlds.
Your support means everything to them and allows our dynamic duo to electrify the world stage!
Your generosity supports our young talented duo DT Power to cover the costs of increased training, coaching, entry fees, Team NZ uniform, costumes, travel and accommodation in order to successfully compete at Hip Hop Unite World Championships!
Thanks so much for your support Brodie, it means a lot.
