Earth Hour 2023

  • You did it - WE DID IT!

      27 March 2023

Together, we created the #BiggestHourforEarth, with over 410,000 people from more than 190 countries and territories across the world giving an hour for our planet.

We are the first generation with the solutions and the last that can take action and reverse nature loss, limit climate change, before it's too late. And through Earth Hour, you've inspired your community to act, one hour at a time, and shown that the sum of our actions is greater than its parts.

    THANK YOU!

We are asking you to spend 60 minutes doing something - anything - positive for our planet. Some ideas are:

Donate an hour of your salary

Plant a native tree or plant vegetable seeds in your garden

Watch a nature documentary (we recommend Our Big Blue Backyard)

Clean up a beach or stream in your neighborhood or near your place of work

Read about climate change and biodiversity loss

Bike or walk instead of using your car

Go plastic free in your next supermarket shop

Try out a new sustainable recipe

Promote Earth Hour to your friends, family or work colleagues

Share your 'hour' on social media with the hashtags #EarthHour, #BiggestHourForEarth or #MyHourForEarth
