Easing the pressure for a young family when tragedy has struck.

  • A message from mum (Natasha)

      7 March 2024

Hi Ya. We made it to the Ward yesterday. He is still being monitored. Heart, lungs and neck wound are our major concerns. But we made it. Feeding tube hopefully out by the end of the week but only because he can't eat with the tube in. He feels something is always getting stuck around it. We have an emergency plan in place if his heart drops again but it has been stable all week. Catheter is draining nicely and no more concerns with that one. Physico will be our next challenge and having a shower. No new areas of movement yet. Still wrists, elbows, shoulders and neck. This week we will work on more time spent in his chair. Twice a day for 2 hours. Overall he's doing really well and he sends his love.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, I con not explain how grateful we all are for the to donation's and love spread to the George family. I am in contact with Natasha most day's so here is a small update.

Stacy was transported from Starship to Middlemore as his vitals were pretty unstable and middle more was better equipped to help him best. In the last week the doctor's were able to take the breathing tube out and stabilise him and he was taken out of ICU. Stacy was transported back to Starship...thing's haven't gone so well so he has been put back in ICU. A few steps forward and only one step back so I'm staying positive for the next positive steps forward. I'm sorry that's all I have for you at the moment while im also trying to keep their privacy intact. Thank you once again for everything.
