Eaten Alive cakes contain carefully prepared ingredients such as raw, activated (soaked for eight hours & dehydrated for 24 hours) nuts, seeds, organic virgin coconut oil & cacao butter, pure tahitian vanilla extract, superfood powders, fruits & hidden vegetables. The result is a dessert that tastes divine, makes you feel amazing & contains highly bioavailable goodness. All desserts are crafted with love using my own recipes.
My name is Sophie, I am 26 years old & live in Palmerston North. Eaten Alive was born out of my own frustration at the lack of options available in our city for people who need convenient, nourishing, real food.
As a young person with experiences of chronic illness, I am passionate about the role that food & nutrition play in our journey to wellness. In our fast-paced world, convenience is a huge factor. I believe that if we were presented with more convenient, healthy options, we could all be on the fast track to the wellness we deserve.
I have spent the past several months preparing to register my kitchen with the Ministry of Primary Industries so that I can supply my cakes to local cafes & shops. I am also going to be returning to local markets & selling through Facebook with free delivery in Palmerston North.
Some of my investments include: dehydrator, blender, food processor, separate fridge & freezer, logo development, packaging, nutritional panels, labeling, printing costs etc.
I am seeking support from people who want to see more healthy, nutrient-dense dessert options in the Manawatu.
