Ecomoon Community Room

For the past 18 months we have offered the Community Room at the back of the shop as a central, friendly drop in spot for families in Nelson. This is a warm, dry, space where parents needing to stop and change, or feed their baby or child can do so on a comfy couch, with a cuppa tea!

We offer toys for the older kids to play with, as parents ourselves we have been there trying to feed a baby, with a toddler running off, and in Nelson there aren't any public parent rooms that offer this space.

We are also incredibly proud to offer this space free of charge to community groups to use to hold support meetings - Mum4Mum Breastfeeding Support, Multiple Birth Group and Babywearing Nelson to name a few.

Unfortunately the costs of running this room, and continuing to offer it as a drop in spot for parents is becoming unmanageable for us. We have run a successful campaign prior and we are humbled by the support for this cause! We are looking to continue receiving sponsorship to continue this service.

Support small business in Nelson, with a large heart. We want to continue offering this to families in Nelson, and visitors to Nelson too! Every dollar counts!
