Fundraising for Edendale’s new Structured Literacy programme
Sandringham, Auckland
Edendale Primary School needs your help! The Edendale PTA (Friends of Edendale) is helping to organise a series of colour runs during school hours to help raise funds for the school's new Structured Literacy programme. Structured Literacy is an approach that teaches ALL children to read, write and spell with confidence using phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary knowledge, fluency and comprehension created from evidence-based research.
Tuakana is made up of Rooms 24-29 (Teachers: Braedon, Katrina, Melody, Nik, Shamin, Leah and Tracy)
Please help support our students and staff as they embark on this journey to better literacy by sponsoring the students for their run. Please feel free to include a message of support for the child (or children) you are sponsoring. Thank you for your support!

Colour Run fun 28 June 2022
After a delay caused by a few weeks of wet weather, Tuakana completed their colour run on the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd June. Thanks so much to all the staff and parent help who made it such a great afternoon - the kids had a blast and it was wonderful to gather together at school again.
Thanks also to our very generous sponsors - your support is appreciated. There's still time to raise funds for the Structured Literacy programme - this page is open until Friday 1 July.
