Classics4Charities wants to raise $100,000 for Project K, ensuring the expansion of this amazing project to more of NZ's young people.
Nationwide
Andrew Barnes and Charlotte Lockhart, from Perpetual Guardian and the 4 Day Week campaign, are participating in the Peking to Paris car rally in June of this year. With this we are launching our new foundation, Classics 4 Charities, which we plan to use to help raise funds for key charities - using our classic cars and Ariki, our classic yacht. Classics 4 Charities is a sub-fund of the Perpetual Guardian Foundation.
This is a mad crazy ride of 36 days from Beijing to Paris, via Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and much of Europe. We are driving our 1941 Chevrolet Coupe, Eleanor on this exciting adventure.
The recipient of our launch fundraiser is the Graeme Dingle Foundation, where we would love to help fund the Project K Programme.
Project K is the flagship programme of the Graeme Dingle Foundation – it really is the DNA of their organisation. It is a truly transformational programme, which picks up young people who are slipping through the cracks and need help the most.
This year 96 young people, in predominantly low-decile communities, will be delivered the programme. Our goal is to help fund the programme, so it can expand its reach and transform the lives of hundreds more vulnerable youth every year.
Charlotte Lockhart & Andrew Barnes love classic cars & boats. We use these & the events we participate in to raise funds for charities & highlight charity activities. Check out classics4charities.com to find out more.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation want to expand their Project K reach so more young people can be transformed. All funds raised with this rally will go to this goal. Every $1 we raise equates to a $7.15 return for New Zealand
