Rest in love our Miracle Boy Elias xxx
We are reaching out to everyone that Elias' life and story has touched to raise funds for his family whilst they grieve their Miracle Boy.
Bay of Plenty
One morning, when siblings Judah, 4, and Esme and Tiegan, 2, were all up and about, Elias was still fast asleep.
"I went to wake him and get him out of bed, and he was already having a seizure, so we quickly called the ambulance and he was rushed to Tauranga Hospital."
Tests showed Elias had been struck by a combination of an enterovirus and mycoplasma pneumonia, a common respiratory pathogen.
That's what had triggered his seizures, yet it was unclear why they were continuing, and doctors decided to send him to Starship Hospital, where he was placed in an induced coma.
Family and friends prayed for Elias - our Miracle Boy - and his family. On the 4.01.2018 Elias went to be with Jesus... hearts are extremely heavy and obviously very sad but thankful Elias is no longer in pain or distress and he past peacefully in his parents arms.

Use of funds
Funds received will be put towards funeral and memorial costs. If excess funds are received, these will be used to assist the Buchanan family with needs as required during this heart-breaking time.
