Sorry to hear of your families loss. From what I have read it sounds like your son may have had an illness called "Encephalitis" whilst it's a terrible loss please find peace that the life long side effects would have been difficult. I am a survivor of this illness. So heart felt empathy to your family. There is no support or funding in NZ the UK and America have web pages.
