Ella's Fundraising For the London International Youth Science Forum in July 2024

My name is Ella. I currently attend Paraparaumu College and have just recently been selected to attend the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF). "LIYSF is a 2 week student event held annually in London which attracts 500 of the world's leading young scientists aged 16-21 years old from more than 70 participating countries. LIYS is held at Imperial College London and The Royal Geographical Society - with day visits out to other leading UK research centres and Universities, including Oxford and Cambridge Universities.”

I have recently received a scholarship to attend the NZ Rotary National Youth Science and Technology Forum. During my time on the forum I experienced the "uni life" in three major universities in the Auckland region (Massey UoA AUT).

Attending this forum would give me the much needed exposure to what is offered to me in the wider world. As mentioned before I attend Paraparaumu College where I'm a Facilitator, School Council member and heavily involved throughout the school and wider community.

My career goals for the future is to become a cardiologist and give back to the less fortunate in the communities.

This incredible opportunity does come with a cost however, the cost is approximately $10k. So any amount will be received with much gratitude and endless thank you's. Please let me know if you would be willing to put forward anything for this.
