Update for 08/07/2014  8 July 2014

Hi, I just wanted to write an update about this trip & fundraising... As some people have been interested in exactly what it is I will be going to do in the outback of the Northern Territory. Here is a bit of a blurb from YWAM Darwin: The Mission Adventures programs are 10-14 days in length and have a training component here in Darwin for four days before the team goes on outreach. Mission Builders are involved in many aspects of program delivery according to their interests and experience and find they serve in a variety of ways throughout their placement here. The training days at the start of the program provides for informal mentoring of the young people who participate in Mission Adventures. All our staff including Mission Builders then have opportunity to join an outreach team and experience outreach at a location where we have been invited and have ongoing relationship. Our outreach locations vary from coastal communities where we have traveled by light plane to more remote desert inland communities that can be a 5-7 hour drive from Darwin. So yeah... I have been asked by YWAM if I'd like to use my photography/videoing skills while on this trip... & these will hopefully be used on their website, to show what these mission adventure groups do when they volunteer in the communities. I am also hoping to keep a blog of my experiences as well... But this can only be put online when I am close to technology & internet! :) Some of the activities I will be a part of at the communities are: children's ministry, sport with teenage young people, creative arts, church services and prayer opportunities, practical service ministry as well as fun recreational times at the local waterhole or swimming location. (& these are dependent on what the elders would like us to be involved in as well) I have been told it is all a lot of fun :) & I am just so excited. I leave in about 2 months time. Thank you for your support!

Yeshua said to them, "To be sure, there is as large harvest. But there are few workers. Therefore plead with the Lord of the Harvest that He speed workers out to gather in His harvest". His grace is for your every need. Love and Shalom.
