Emily Branje in liue of flowers fund
This is a place for others to show support to Emily who was tragically swept away.
Canterbury
On Thursday 26 September Emily was enjoying family time at the Hokitika River mouth. On Saturday the sea returned Emily to the Branje family.
Emily was the precious only child of Patrick and Janine, and loved step daughter of Mandy and Neil.
Emily was vibrant, so very talented with the most contagious personality, she always made those around her laugh. She was a passionate and talented highland dancer and fencer and committed to the environment, a keen speedway fan and went on many 4WD trips with the local club too.
This fund has been set up to establish and help her memory to live on, honour her beliefs and passions, in response to people reaching out and wanting to support the family in liue of flowers.

I am a friend and former collegue of Janine. Janine was a rock for me when my daughter was undergoing cancer treatment, and now I want to be part of the army that helps support them through this toughest of times.
Use of funds
These funds will go supporting Emily's family through the initial period of grief and to preserve her memory.
