With the flourish of a quill and the resonance of iambic pentameter, I, Murcie-Lago Gabriel Morris, come forth to weave a tale of ambition, passion, and the enduring power of the stage. Behold, for I stand at the threshold of a dream – a dream to tread upon the hallowed boards of The Globe, to breathe life into the works of the Bard, and to honour the legacy of Shakespeare in all its splendour. I am grateful to have been chosen to represent New Zealand as a part of the Young Shakespeare Company (YSC) for 2024.
