Entire Business and Livelihood Stolen

    So it’s nearly been 3mnths and no sign of anything at all, not one tool has been recovered. They think they know who stole the gear but they are just bottom feeders with charges for everything, ones on the run, ones in jail and still no sign of anything so feels pretty hopeless.

    Thankfully due to all your amazing donations Craig was able to buy himself a little truck, he is in heaven after borrowing and trying to make things work for so long. He is so happy with it and it is an amazing launchpad for him to keep things moving and keep him busy to start squirrelling away for a second hand digger when he finds the right one. We will be forever grateful to everyone’s generosity and understanding and you can bet the truck was insured and sorted before he drove it off the lot, and is being locked and watched and all the rest! If anyone has any advice on the best GPS tracker that would be amazing too.

    Above all else I would love to thank you all for your messages, like that type of support was so incredible, reading the encouragement and words of advice and just the genuineness behind every single comment was amazing. We both read all of them, I know Craig read them when he was feeling frustrated with the situation, I read them out to him and to myself as we went along. The understanding and support we received was just next level and I will be forever grateful for the selflessness and love we experienced.

    We still would love to have our things back so appreciate everyone still looking out for us. But obviously life has to still keep rolling along.

    Amazing how two things so huge can just disappear without a trace. Not even a wheelbarrow has been found, mind blowing. I am still holding out all the hope in the world that the things we worked so hard for will be found, especially his little digger, they don’t deserve any of it.

    For now through the generosity of everyone who donated Craig is going to try find a truck, it has been incredibly frustrating since all went missing borrowing and not being able to pick up materials. So in saying that anyone thinking of selling or know of anyone selling a good little tipper truck please get in touch. In the mean time thank you so so much for the donations, where would we even be without them. Incredible. We will update when he is finally on the path to getting up on his feet again with a new work horse. 💕

      Probably worth offering a reward. You can't lose as you only pay if the goods are recovered. Make sure the wording of your reward correctly reflects this.

    Just thought I’d do an update, for someone who suffers crippling anxiety, sometimes just for checking emails, a friend asking me for a coffee, answering my phone.. the last 4 weeks have been hard work. Some news today from my detective today, I can let you know if you want via my Facebook look me up if you want, if you need details.. but all in all the police are doing all they can and there is still traction on finding our stuff.. I am trying to trust the system, trust the police, trust that horrible people will trip themselves up eventually and I am trusting that will happen.

    So not a lot has changed, still no idea where anything is.. seems to have vanished. And what’s even sadder is as I go to bump up all my posts for people to keep a watch out just putting “stolen digger/truck/tools” it’s absolutely heartbreaking how many tradies are being ripped off while trying to make an honest living, it’s horrific and needs to stop.

    The police have a few little clues here and there but everything takes time and they have to jump through so many hoops who knows what will happen to the digger and truck and tools in the mean time. I really just once again want to just tell you all how much I appreciate the words of support and kindness and no judgment. It’s refreshing people have a heart.

    I will update again as soon as I have anything solid, in the mean time I would appreciate everyone sharing their pics and links around and bumping your old ones on the community pages so that more people can see, I really don’t want to just ‘roll over’ just makes me so wild and sad.

    I was really really wanting to thank everyone individually for your kindness and suggestions and support and offers of encouragement and just pure generosity, but it might be getting near impossible. I see him reading it all though and I so, so appreciate it. The feeling of being backed via so many people has been incredible. I am still pushing, pushing, pushing to get something back, why should he have it, he didn’t work for it?! Please I appeal to everyone to keep looking and sharing and bumping your posts, Easter traffic will be heavier than normal. Aside from that I don’t know what else to do but keep having faith in the police, they have a lot more resources than me. Trying not to get that hopeless feeling. I just want the pictures fresh in peoples minds while they are travelling about today and over Easter period.
