Help me bring Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy to New Zealand.
Auckland
I have been accepted to do a training course in February 2020 with The Equine Psychotherapy Institute in Australia. There is currently no funding or scholarships available in this field and so I am turning to family, friends and my community for help to achieve this dream. I wish to learn these skills to bring them back to New Zealand, to help those who may benefit from Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy. You can follow my facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/My-journey-with-Equine-Assisted-Therapy
Any donations over $50 will be thanked by receiving a Bowen Therapy treatment from me at my location in West Auckland. You can contact me through my facebook page to book.
My goal is to use equine-assisted learning and therapy to help people achieve their goals. This model has proven to help people gain confidence, establish healthy boundaries, create leadership skills and more. Horses offer a deep and personal learning experience due to their honest and non-judgemental natures. Through a Horse's authenticity and capability of staying in the present, they offer people a safe place, to be themselves and establish trusting relationships.
In conjunction with my counselling degree I plan to use equine-assisted therapy to help people be the best they can be, regardless of past or present struggles, with a key focus on helping those who have suffered from trauma and abuse.
Funds will be used for training and related costs to complete this programme.
