EROAD – Red Cross Ukraine

**EROAD will double-matching every donation. The fundraising total does not show the full matched amount yet. Once the total amount shown reaches $20k, EROAD will donate an additional $10k to take the total funds raised to $30k**

With the escalating conflict in the Ukraine, civilians are moving out of their homes to seek shelter, or to cross borders to seek refuge in a nearby country.

This devastating situation affects our EROAD team with several staff members from Ukraine and surrounding countries. Many still have family and friends living in the region.

We want to show support to our teammates and all the people of Ukraine by contributing to the much needed humanitarian effort in this part of Europe. We've chosen the Red Cross' Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis fund.

The Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org.nz/what-we-do/overseas/ukraine-humanitarian-crisis/) is prioritising aid to ensure people have access to shelter, clean water, healthcare and psychosocial support. Funding will be given directly to those on the ground in the Ukraine and neighbouring countries who are providing support.

EROAD aims to raise as much as we can for the response fund and will match all donations made up to $20,000 (NZD).

We hope the funds raised provide some small comfort to the families affected and those with loved ones still at risk
