Help Eruera Matehaere get to America in July 2019
Manawatu / Whanganui
Eruera Matehaere is an exceptional 12 year old boy. He has been selected to represent New Zealand in America and Canada for u14 Softball. This is a very great honour and an amazing opportunity. Eru has been surrounded by softball as a way of life with his Grandmother and mother being very keen playing along with the rest of the Whanau. He started his personal career off by playing T-Ball at age six and his love and passion for the sport grew as he grew.
He has huge passion and mana when it comes to all aspects of his sporting life. Even representing his Provence for rugby, basketball and touch many times as well as for softball. He has not only excelled in this area he has had the chance to represent his school for Kapa Haka on a national stage. In his personal life he is always there for everyone being the kindest possible boy he could be always willing to help or just spread the love.
He has a huge commitment to everything he does and does it to 100% of his abilities.
Muaūpoko Iwi is also apart of his passion and being able to represent not only his country and province but his Iwi and those who have been before them to honour the passion of softball throughout the whanau.
Thank you for your support on behalf of our whole family, and will appreciate any donation big or small to help out to the cause.
Thanks,
Matehaere Siblings
I am writing this on behalf of Eruera’s siblings.
Moana&Sam, Ropata&Caitlin, Simon, Christine and Rata.
Mum & Dad already have so much going on with their on fundraising duties as they have two children heading overseas to represent sport. So we thought this could be a way we could reach out to our whanau and friends for some support to make Eruera’s dreams a reality.
The money will go towards the current large sum we are having to raise this will pay for his, flights, accomodation and all essentials. The amount we are needing to raise is 6,000 by July.
