Get Jessica to the Sub-Antarctic!

Hi there, my name is Jessica Yule and I am an 18 year old student raising money for the adventure of a lifetime; a two-week expedition to the Auckland Islands in the Sub-Antarctic with the Sir Peter Blake Trust!

Being a passionate and budding environmentalist, I have been selected as one of only 14 high school students around New Zealand to explore this exciting region. I will be travelling by Navy boat (HMSNZ Otago) for two weeks with the Sir Peter Blake Trust.

On this trip, I will further my education in conservation and apply my existing knowledge on environmental management to maximise this opportunity. This trip is an imperative stepping stone in my environmental career, as I hope to one day become an environmental lawyer and work for New Zealand surrounding the issue of sustainability and distribution of resources.
