6 year old Gloria Hart has just been diagnosed with Leukaemia. Please donate to help this darling girls recovery.
Auckland
Living in tune with nature, off land and off grid, it never crossed our minds that our healhty energetic Gloria, growing up with her 3 sisters amongst gardens, orchards and fresh food, would become ill with Leukaemia.
We are heartbroken for beautiful Gloria but we must hold hope to fully restore her health.
We are grateful that there is a treatment. It is intensive and long (2.5 years) chemotherapy, but fine tuned and has 90% recovery rate.
The chemo started on 5/12 and we must have faith that she responds well.
There is need for ongoing blood transfusions, regular blood and organ monitoring.
Costs while on chemo are covered, but our new expenses will be transport to hospital weekly. To remedy the effects of the chemo and accelerate body cleansing, we search for practitioners who could navigate competently in both child oncology and holistic medicine, and can complement them safely. Those number up to $200 per appointment plus the remedies.
We also aim to create a rest sanctuary for Gloria and might need support with her sisters, household and gardens.
Martina is with Gloria during treatments and Steve is at home looking after the rest of the family and the land.
Ours and yours love, light, prayers and meditation are also incredibly efficient.
Thank you so much for your understanding, support and love, they are huge part of the healing.
Gloria is Milly’s youngest sister.
The funds will go towards travel to and from the hospital as they live out of town and extra treatments alongside chemotherapy to support her immunity, such as herbalist doctor and homeopathy treatments.
Ending of first phase of Gloria's treatments 2 January 2025
Thank you all so much for your generous support on our Journey to heal Gloria's Leukaemia.
We have not been home for a whole month. Our family made 10 trips up to Auckland (3 hr round trip) to visit. Also many other friends! Thank you!
Gloria picked up her strength and is on her own feet, happy back to her creative herself. She has been very hungry, catching up on her body weight loss.
Tomorrow a blood cell count, a bone marrow sample and lumber puncture with chemo treatment under GA will mark a crucial assesment, and determine direction in the follow up treatments. Wish us luck!
