Extremely rare cancer for Vanessa Sweet

Vanessa (Ness) has Malignant Mediastinal Mass with Myxoid/ Angiomatoid Fibrocysicytoma, a rare cancer, only 5 people in the world have been diagnosed.

In February 2022, Ness got the news she thought she never would get AGAIN. First diagnosed at 30yrs old with brain cancer, then at 38yrs old, diagnosed with C2 Myo Epithelial Carcenoma. Now at 45yrs of age, Ness is determined to fight this cancer as best as she can to continue to show her children how courageous and positive she is. That they know this illness will not out-weigh living her best life. She also has Pulmonary Embolism, clot in the left lung. The cancer has metastasized from the brain, to the heart sack, spine and diaphragm.

Ness is a loving solo mum of 4 beautiful children and a loving grandmother to 3 precious granddaughters. Since losing her soulmate and father to her children to a sudden heart attack 5 years ago, the whanau are still grieving their loss.

Ness and her children have been relying on family and friends to assist with transportation as they no longer have a vehicle. Please, we ask for help to relieve some stress and pressure that Ness is carrying so they can purchase a safe and reliable vehicle to have their independence back, enable them to get out as a family and create more memorable moments together.
