Fair Go - elderly couple lost life savings and dream home. Can you help?

Since our story aired on Fair Go an unexpected offer of help from a big hearted Cantabrian, Lyall Senior, has given Yvonne and Iain fresh hope, and me a new mission.

My goal, with Lyall's help and project management, is to update my parent's unit into a home where they can be comfortable and have some peace after what they have been through over the last 10 years.

The first step is to install a heat pump to make it easier to keep warm through the winter, and a rejig of the bathroom to make it much safer.
