Chrisa, Joe, and their daughters Maria, Alex, and Maggie Ulberg, are not just great neighbours, they are great friends and an amazing family. The Ulbergs have been a part of the Lyall Bay/Kilbirnie community for nearly 20 years and are well known with the girls being active in numerous sports including Poneke Rugby, Poneke Softball, and Netball to name a few.

Tragedy struck this hard-working family just last Wednesday (2-2-2022) when their treasured home and all they owned was destroyed in a devastating house fire.

Thankfully all three girls, who were home when the blaze started, were able to escape to safety but they have been left with nothing but what they were wearing.

As part of the Ulbergs community, we are calling out to help and support this beautiful family.

The Ulbergs are a humble family and they have not asked for us to do this, but we know they are hurting and that there are many who would love to help.

Let's help get this family back on their feet.
