Helping a family who has lost everything.
Napier, Hawke's Bay
Kia ora everyone,
I am asking on behalf of a family I know (my cousin his partner and their children who have been decimated by Cyclone Gabriel.
They are young family from Napier who have just started out and they have lost everything in the floods that have taken place in Hawkes Bay. My cousin is a proud man who doesn't want to ask for help but these are circumstances outside his control. Him and his partner Emma are a hard-working couple of 2 young girls 10 and 8 and a teenage son.
Their home in Awatoto, Waitangi Road, Napier has been completely destroyed in the floods; they have lost everything! My cousins place of work was also affected by the floods so unsure when he will be able to go back to work. They do have insurance so they will eventually get sorted, so this is about giving them sone breathing space until that is all sorted.
Any small donation will be of help, I want them to know people care, and that they are not on their own.
Use of funds
To help them keep their heads above water while they sort out their jobs, a place to stay. I also think to help out their kids, clothes, school items when they can go back and everyday items.
