Family loses home in sudden fire

My dear childhood friend has lost her house and everything in it from a fire last night.
Living in the house was 2 young kids, my friend who’s early 20’s and the mother of my friend.
I’m wanting to raise funds for them to provide clothing, toys, food, plus ease the stress of the new reality of having nothing. This family has been through so much, they are so giving and generous and would never ask for a cent so I’m doing this on their behalf.
The family were fortunate to have insurance (as a legal requirement to have a mortgage) but aren’t sure whether they had contents.

$1,500 raised for family. 30 October 2022
Thankyou to all that contributed towards my fundraiser. Together with the bake sale we raised $1,500. I cashed it and put it together with a gift donated and the family were so appreciative. They are still homeless with no answer as to how the fire happened but are safe and healthy and happy with what they’ve got. They are going to use the money whenever needed to get necessities such as clothing, food or to contribute towards bills. I just wanted to send out a massive Thankyou from the family and from myself for all your generosity and I hope to be able to give a future update when they have found a new forever home. Thankyou!
