Hi Mondelea. I really hope your application come out positive soon as we are in a similar situation with my family. We lodged our residency in June 2020 and waiting for a CO. My wife has also a hi BMI and her gallbladder removed while she was pregnant (never got any issue with it until pregnancy). Can I please get in touch with you to know more about what the case officer asked you? Thanks lost. Bruno

Hi Mondelea
I'm very surprised to hear the reason that you were denied to stay in NZ. Hopefully, you will have a positive outcome in time.
I know how difficult it is for many women to lose weight no matter how much they try and no matter how many diets however, I'd like to recommend that you try a keto diet..or at least a low carb diet. I am mildly insulin resistant as are probably alot of the population. Many who are not even aware of it. If you were to look at me you would never think I had a problem because I am relatively slim but I weigh more than I ever have.
Just thought it might help you..in keto you don't count calories but you can still eat really nice food.
All the best.

Hi there thank you so much for the support and advise. It's really hard to loose weight especially if you have other life stressors going on. I have tried keto before and it just doesn't work for me not sure why but i don't do well with the protein intake but definitely the low carb is awesome. I also hope to get my voice heard and to bring a postive change.

Typical NZ government.....they cry out for skilled workers and yet will not issue them with residency even when they have proved themselves Would love to help you, but our finances are very stretched..

The support still means the world to us. It's much appreciated.
