Destitute in Thailand with no funds and two children
International
Kia ora.
My name is Phil, and I’m a single father doing everything I can to bring my two boys and me home to New Zealand.
Right now we are stranded in Thailand and the situation is getting desperate. Embarrassingly, I’m asking for help in any way.
Our family unit had lived in Thailand with our sons in school, I thought all was good.
Then everything changed my partner informed me she met someone else. In a short timeframe she sold everything, emptied our accounts and move to the USA.
The week after she left, due to all the stress I suffered a severe stroke that has left me with limited physical ability. Fatigue and memory loss now affect my daily life, making it extremely difficult and unable to work and support us. This made a painful situation even more heartbreaking..
Currently we are homeless, we sleep unprotected outside in the elements raining or not. My children are tired they get sick regularly we need to come home to safety and stability in New Zealand.
I am also very fearful I cannot buy any Stroke medicines. I don't have any living family nor do I know anyone able to help us. I feel so alone, don't know what to do every day is a struggle.
If you can’t donate, please share our story your voice might reach someone who can help
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for caring
