Part of the world's largest fashion activism movement, Fashion Revolution NZ advocates for fair fashion & a cleaner planet since 2019!
Nationwide
In the aftermath of the devastating Rana Plaza disaster in 2013, Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro founded Fashion Revolution—a beacon of hope amidst tragedy. From humble beginnings, we've blossomed into the world's largest fashion activism movement, with over 90 volunteer country teams around the world, uniting citizens, brands, and policymakers in a common cause.
Fashion Revolution Week, observed annually around April 24th, commemorates the lives lost in the Rana Plaza collapse—a stark reminder of the human cost of fast fashion. We refuse to let their deaths be in vain. Our mission is clear: to ensure that no one should ever suffer or die for the sake of fashion.
As a global movement, we represent the diverse voices of the fashion industry—designers, academics, workers, and consumers alike. Together, we advocate for transparency, ethics, and sustainability in every stitch of clothing.
But we can't do it alone. Your support fuels our efforts to drive real change. By donating to our cause, you empower us to continue our vital work—conducting research, educating communities, and advocating for a fairer, safer industry for all.
Join us in honoring the past, shaping the present, and building a better future for fashion. Together, we can make a difference—one garment, one donation, one revolution at a time.
