Father in need of assistance

Hello everyone,

For those who know my (Dad) and for those who don't know (Arie), he has recently been diagnosed with motor neuron disease and he is in need of any help that we can give him.

Dad (Arie) is one of the most beautiful and kind hearted humans to walk this land of ours, throughout my life he has been my rock and also a light at the end of the tunnel for many others in his life as well.

The last few years have been a rough ride after losing my mum (Dads love of his life) and last year he was made redundant which has hit the pockets hard.

Along with losing his main income, he is currently only just able to work minimally with the condition of his body because of the motor neuron disease.

(An unfortunate aspect of his condition is that stress is massively detrimental and can accelerate the deterioration of his physical body, leading to us having less time with him. Finances are currently one of the main stressors for Dad and this is why I am here to ask for your help)

Now, for anyone that has been to a home show in New Zealand over the last ten years, Dad has been a very well known and loved character amongst all of us in the industry, as well as being a huge hit with the customers who he has blessed with his presence through the years.

If you have bought a bag of smoked sea salt or a shark vacuum cleaner, you quite probably have met this lovely human!

I am here to ask for your assistance to please help Dad live his best life for however long he has with us. The funds will go into his bank account and will be used to help with general living costs and also spent in anyway that can put a smile on his dial.

I love this man and I truly wish to give him the best time of his life while we still can.
