62 year old student who is not eligible for course costs needs to replace laptop to continue studying at University. No other options.

Left Nursing after 40+ years after being widowed twice, and am now half way through re-training as an Archaeologist. My computer is almost dead and a laptop is for me an essential aid to studying. As I am over 55 I do not qualify for a Course Related Cost from Studylink and I have exhausted all other possibilities. The only other alternative is to wait till the new year after my holiday job but this compromises my current study.
