    It seems amazing that Ferg is still with us. After a diagnosis of terminal liver cancer his specialist Chris Jackson gave Ferg 4 to 6 weeks, as his liver is so full of tumours. This was at the end of July. He is now in week 14.

    To have him still with us is a blessing Campbell, Aiden and I are truly thankful for all the kind donations that have given us the opportunity to be with Ferg and care for him at home.

    I have been able to not work and devote as much time to looking after Ferg. He is such a battler....hitting it head on with his positive attitude and humour.

  • Palliative care

    Further to Delwyn’s recent update. As Ferg is now in palliative care we wanted to update and advise that the funds raised for Ferg’s treatment will now be used to support Ferg and the family through this care at home.

  • No Treatment in Palliative Care

    Thank you for all your donations. Unfortunately Fergus's liver cancer is now beyond treatment. Now in palliative care at home.

    Spending as much time with Delwyn and the boys. Keeping Fergus as comfortable as possible.

      My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. Ferg, you will always be a person that I remember as full of life, full of laughs and a downright beautiful person. Maybe your final days be filled with extra love from your family and close friends. I feel privileged to have met you, entertained with you, and been in your life, albeit briefly. Take care my friend and cherish the time you have left. Love always Beth x

  • Quiz Night for Ferg - 10 September 2022

    If you are in Invercargill and keen to support a fundraising night for Ferg and his family - we are holding a Quiz Night on Saturday 10 September 2022 at the Invercargill Workingmans Club. Silent and public auctions, live music and raffles with some great prizes up for grabs.

    If you are outside the area and keen to bid on an auction item then let the team know (same email as above).

    $60 for a team of 4.

    Ferg has made the difficult decision to finish work, as his health has deteriorated in the last few days.

  • Treatment to start

    Words cannot articulate the gratitude we have for everyone that has donated.

    Ferg is starting treatment on Thursday 18th August....Ironically this is 7 years to the day since Ferg had his kidney transplant.

    Campbell, Aiden and I appreciate all the calls and visits. Love to you all❤️
