Fight for Aaliyah

On May 3rd, I'll be stepping into the boxing ring for an incredible cause—one that hits close to my heart. I'm fighting to raise funds for Aaliyah and her family as they face an incredibly tough journey. On March 5th, 2025, Aaliyah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and has already undergone her first round of treatment.

Aaliyah is a beautiful, bubbly, and happy little girl, and we want to do everything we can to ensure that her family can stay by her side during this challenging time. As Aaliyah faces potentially 2.5 years of treatment, with monthly trips to Christchurch for the next several months, the financial burden on her whānau is overwhelming. Your support will help them stay close to her, providing the emotional and physical support Aaliyah needs—and the support her parents need to stay strong.

Training for this fight has been tough, but it’s nothing compared to the battles Aaliyah and her family are facing right now. Every punch I throw in the ring will be for them, and every dollar you donate will help keep Aaliyah's family by her side during her treatment. The funds raised will go directly to Aaliyah’s family, helping with medical expenses, travel costs, and other essentials so they can focus on what truly matters—being there for Aaliyah.
