Our dear Mama Ligaya was rushed to the hospital on March 5 after suffering a severe stroke. Since then, she has undergone 3 brain surgeries, with the latest being a craniectomy. She has been in the ICU at Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center ever since, still in a deep sleep.
She now depends on a tracheostomy for breathing support and an NGT for feeding as she continues her fight for recovery.
As you can imagine, the hospital bills are rapidly increasing, and our family is doing everything we can to keep up. We humbly ask for your prayers, support, and any financial assistance you can offer to help with her medical expenses.

All donations will go directly toward Mama Ligaya’s medical expenses: ICU bills, medications and treatments, surgical costs, medical equipment supplies and rehabilitaions and therapy.

Update on Mama Ligaya 20 April 2025
We are so grateful to share a positive update, Mama Ligaya has now been transferred out of the ICU and is currently in a regular room. She’s still asleep, but we are seeing hopeful signs of progress. Her movements are slowly returning, and she continues to fight with quiet strength. She’s on the path to recovery, and though the journey is far from over, we remain faithful and hopeful.
Our ultimate goal is to bring her home, even if she’s not fully awake yet. We continue to pray and hold on to hope that a miracle will happen. In God we trust.
On behalf of Brendo and the entire family, we want to extend our deepest thanks for your prayers, love, and generous donations. Your support means more than words can express. We are truly blessed to have a community that lifts us in such a difficult time.
