Fighting for Fairness After 26 Years of dedicated service

HELP ME FIGHT MY UNJUSTIFIED DISMISSAL This fundraiser is about standing up for fair and lawful treatment in our workplaces, especially in the education sector where trust and integrity should matter most. In my 26 years of dedicated service to my school, I've always taken pride in supporting students, staff, and the wider school community. My dismissal will not only affect me financially - it has deeply impacted my sense of purpose and dignity. Starting with raising an employment relationship problem in 2022 and filing the problem with the Employment Relations Authority in September 2023, delays mean we are now awaiting the determination. All of that time I have continued to work diligently at my school until I received notice of termination for the reason of incompatibility but essentially as retaliation for having raised problems and issues of serious misconduct and serious wrongdoing. With the help of my husband I represented myself so far, but it’s been really hard and has taken a huge toll on us, our family and our friends. It’s been soul destroying, and I will need help to come back from it but I am not prepared to give up. I need help to be able to afford to engage a lawyer to represent me in the employment authority to give me a break, to give me some of my life back, and to give me the best chance to keep my job and my livelihood and do justice.

I know this is common and I know most of us experience it at some stage, but it is not OK and I am standing up against it.
