Help Jamie, fight Primary Progressive MS with life-changing stem cell treatment in Mexico after NZ options failed.
Christchurch, Canterbury
In 2023 aged just 38, Jamie received a life-altering diagnosis: primary progressive multiple sclerosis. This devastating news arrived just six months after Jamie and myself bravely launched a new business Kai 2 You, while also navigating the joys and challenges of family life with our 4 teenager's. Since then, Jamie's symptoms have sadly rapidly progressed , impacting her daily life, no more runs/walks or playing the sport she loved "Netball". Our family life also took a huge impact as we navigated our way through this brutal life changing disease.
Despite trying traditional treatments, including Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) infusions twice a year, which unfortunately proved ineffective and have been told there are no other avenues for treatment here in New Zealand, as a family we have found hope in stem cell therapy, available in Mexico. This treatment offers a potential chance to halt the progression of MS and improve Jamie's quality of life.
This journey, however, comes with significant financial burdens. We are reaching out to our community and friends, and anyone touched by Jamie's story, to help raise the funds needed for this crucial treatment. Your generous contributions will directly support Jamie's travel, medical expenses, and post-treatment care.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in Jamie's fight against MS. Let's come together and provide Jamie with the opportunity for a brighter, healthier future. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Funds will go directly to HSCT (Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation) treatment at Clinica Ruiz in Mexico (hopefully July 2025)
If we don't reach our target all funds will still go towards Mexico treatment, we will explore other avenues of funding to top up.

Not long and I'll be leaving to have my #hsct treatment. I am now at home full time resting to get the best possible version of myself before I start my new chapter.
So much appreciation & gratitude to each and
every person that has helped make our life a little easier 🧡🧡
