In our journey to build a partnership between Bucklands Beach Intermediate and Vitogo District school in Fiji, we are organising a fun run!

Students will endeavour to complete a tough course of approx. 3km, each obtaining sponsorship to make their efforts worthwhile. Sponsorship will be for the race as a whole or as many laps as they aspire (and succeed) to complete.

In order to support our dedicated and caring students, we are looking for generous people to contribute to our campaign through GiveALittle.

Student leaders within BBI have identified a need within a Fijian school and created a plan to develop a long term partnership between the two schools.

This much needed support will come in the form of:

- Sports equipment

- Musical equipment

- Art & craft equipment

- School office and classroom stationery.

With the support from some Macleans College Head Prefects and the full support of the B.O.T. (Board of Trustees), we are confident that with your help we can reach our target of $10,000 NZD.

This is such a valuable experience for our students and a worthy cause to support, so we hope you get involved!

Our school has a unique character, as it caters for students in the intermediate school years (11-13 years) and even though we have a short time with the students we make the most of every opportunity. We pride ourselves on giving our students the best possible education. Our staff are fully trained and dedicated to promoting life long learners with a love for learning.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
