Financial relieve for Dani and her family

Dani is a bright young Brazilian born Kiwi mother married to an English man and with two beautiful daughters 6 and 1.

She is currently admitted to a mental health facility in Christchurch.

Dani’s case is very complex but she has gracefully dealt with her traumas and managed to be successful in all her pursuits as much as possibly could.

However since becoming ill and diagnosed with Complex PTSD, she’s been unable to work and her family have experienced serious financial shortages .

Her illness was caused by severe and continuous childhood violence, neglect and sexual abuse. The diagnosis came after a suicide attempt in March 2018 where the pain and pressure of everyday living became too much to bare for her.

Recently she had a re-lapse when she opened up about a rape that happened in 2010 and indecent assault that happened in 2017 and she became psychotic and had to be hospitalised again.

I would like to be able to offer my friend and her family some financial relieve so that they can focus on getting back on their feet without having the stress of not having an income at the moment.

This is an atypical and temporary situation as they’re a productive and active family but the bills have piled up the shortage is real and so is the struggle.

All funds will go to help the family with living costs whiles both parents are unable to work. They live rurally in Canterbury and have the additional cost of travelling to Christchurch and ongoing treatment with psychiatrist and psychologist.
