Financial Support for my brother.

Kia ora everyone. Long story short, I am wanting to help my brother fundraise some funds as he is in need of some financial assistance for his chemotherapy treatments.

Background:

My bro was diagnosed July 2019 with Colorectal Cancer (Bowel Cancer). He had a total of 25 treatments of radiation & chemotherapy Tag team September to October 2019 then there was a 10-12 week waiting period.

Removal operation Christmas 2019 11 days in hospital followed by more chemotherapy in march 2019.

October 2022 they discovered spots seen on 6 monthly follow up scans. December 2022 scans shows growth.

March 2023 scans show spots now on liver!

The Pharmac drug is covererd by Insurance but an un-funded drug (Bevacizumab) which is encouraged to help fight the illness isn't.

The total cost for these treatments is $17,000.00.

Please bare in mind, My brother is very private about his situation and didn't want to explore this route. He is the main bread winner with a loving son and wife who rely on him financially. He has a mortgage to pay and is struggling to get funds together to get by. It is with a very heavy heart that he is considering this hence why I am organizing this to help tautoko my bro in this time of need.

If you can spare any koha to help contribute towards his treatments, it would mean the world to me if you can help support in anyway. My target to fundraise for him is $25K - $30K to assist him post treatment.
