7 Months ago Stew sadly found out that he had stage 4 terminal cancer. he has taken a turn for the worst and our family needs your help.
Nationwide
In January 2015 Stewart Grumball (Dad) was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. Stewart had surgery on his back to remove a tumour in February. the surgery was successful however after a lot of scans and tests doctors found cancer in his lungs and brain. Stewarts illness was controlled by medication. The medication helped for a while. but in June his illness started to progress. he began to get very week and wobbly on his feet and his memory was very short. We noticed a change in him everyday. It was very hard for our mum (Christine Grumball). we are now in july he has been in the hospice for about a 2 weeks now. last week he was walking around with us, talking to us like his same old self, he remembered who we all were. today (20/07/2015) he is bed ridden, he can only eat pureed food, he isn't able to talk and when he does try, it is just soft mumbles. this illness has changed him so much. It is hard for him to understand who we all are and what is going on. The doctors have said we only have a very very short time left with dad (stewart). We get told often by friends and family that if there is anything they can do to help that we should just ask and now that is what we are doing. We do not have the funds for funeral costs and we need your help. every dollar that is donated will help.
