I just wanted to let you know that I've opened up a Facebook page for Finlay. This is something we'd love you to 'like' so we can keep you 'in the loop' regarding the process and finally the incredible moments he'll have once he receives it.

Once we have it we will then have to adapt it to support his posture. This will be for his safety, security and comfort. Finlay's type of cerebral palsy causes movement disorders which result in him sliding out of typical seating. The key now is to adapt the seating to keep him in place. I am busy locating customised seating specialists to provide quotes for the work. This will be more expense but at least we can start that second part of the process with the unit itself!
He may even be able to get back on that beach this Summer! The unit will comes from France.
We are getting so close to our goal. I'd like to thank you all again for helping us get Finlay back on the beach. We've been touched by all your supportive comments. I was particularly taken with the caring 6 year old who saved their pocket money then chose Finlays cause to donate it to. (A truly thoughtful thing for one so young).
What a fantastic start guys $690.00 raised in the first day. Thank you so much. I'm hoping to have something written up in local papers to gather support. This is going to make such a difference. Kim :-)
