Fire Fighter Alex Scarrow taken too soon, This man brought the smile where ever he went! Legend who got stuff done!

Alex Scarrow was a brilliant man with a huge characteristic personality, he was the life of the party and the smile to everyone's day ! Alex was a man who loved to help his community, He was a volunteer Fire Fighter who strived to make a difference, He was our Deputy Controller at Te Pohue Station. Alex achieved anything he put his mind to. Alex loved adventures and enjoying life to the fullest, Unfortunately it was one of his adventures that sadly took Alex from his path in life. Alex passed away in a tragic rafting accident at Hawkes Bay's Mohaka river on the 16th Dec 2023. Because Alex was such a love-able funny guy he has left a gapping hole in the hearts of many!, He has made an impression on more people that he will ever realize, he was that funny guy you just looked up to. He is gone but never forgotten he will live on in all our hearts, and in the achievements he made with his short time. We would like to help Alex's Family with some of the cost involved with giving him the honorable celebration send off of Alex's 31 years with us.
